May 15, 2008ThinkHost Issues with server transferAs many of you know, ThinkHost had multiple problems with their servers during a transfer to new server last week. These issues had many of our websites down, including this one. I know that it is very frustrating when a website is down and can cost businesses lots of money. It was not only websites that were down, but email as well. Many of Secret Lab Web Designs clients are small businesses that rely on their hosting email for their in house email as well. To us the downtime was just unacceptable. We are taking a careful look into this problem and will advise what we are going to do as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. January 10, 2008Web HostingSecret Lab Web Design will no longer offer it's own hosting service. Dedicated hosting companies can offer much larger packages to their clients for far better prices then we can offer at this time. We are also a very small company and cannot offer 24/7 support for hosting that we feel our clients deserve. Therefore, as of March 1, 2008 all clients will be moved to a hosting solution of their choice. We are currently in the process of reviewing and selecting one hosting provider to team up with to offer out clients the best hosting at the best possible price. This decision will be announced in the near future. We will still be offering all of our web design and maintenance services and look forward to working with you on your web projects. |
